Q: What is BitClout? Is it a Social Network, Is it Crypto Currency? Is it Social Tokens?

BitClout is all of those things, and more. Most importantly BitClout is a socially-economic experiment that I have been observing for last six week. According to @DiamondHands, BitClout's creator says it's a new way to monetize a following. Fantasy Twitter's but thats just the begining.

What BitClout Is Today?

At its core, BitClout is few things:

  • Decentralized protocol build on top of Bitcoin for exchange of value
  • Open Source protocol for developers to build on top of ( 4 out of  5 Modules have been released over the last few week)
  • Fantasy Stock market where you can invest in people, projects and ideas
  • Social network  (very similar to Twitter) with YouTube, Vimeo, and TikTok integrations in the first 30 days and many more to be developed by the community

A different social network with a new kind of monetization tool for creators called "creator coins." With BitClout, every creator gets a coin that anyone on the platform can buy and sell, which unlocks many innovative ways for creators to monetize, and allows them to create deeper relationships with their followers.
