🌿RoundUp Weed Killer Class Action Settlement
A $45 Million Class Action settlement has been reached with Monsanto over certain specific Roundup®, HDX®, or Ace® Weed Killer products.
If You Purchased Certain Roundup®, HDX®, or Ace® Weed & Grass Killer Products, You May Be Entitled to Payment From A Proposed Class Action Settlement
The class action lawsuit alleges that Monsanto did not accurately advertise weed killer products by failing to disclose and not informing buyers about glyphosate, a potential cause of cancer. The Class Action Settlement provides relief to purchasers of weed killer products.
Monsanto denies any wrongdoing, and any class member will continue to have a right to sue if they have or develop any injury, including cancer, from exposure to the weed killer products involved in this class action.
Monsanto has agreed to settle the lawsuit for the purpose of avoiding the time and expense of further class action lawsuits and court proceedings, which involve further risk and costs.
You could qualify for a cash payment if you purchased certain Roundup®, HDX®, or Ace® brand weed or grass killers containing glyphosate.
A full list of products is available here. You must have purchased the product in the right time period in your state in the U.S. You can find a full list of States and the relevant time period you must have purchased the weed killer to qualify for payment below or on the class action administrator website. Your purchase must have been made for any purpose other than redistribution or resale.
You can expect approximately 20% of the average retail price you paid for the relevant weed killer products. Payments per single unit product will range from $0.50 to $33.00, depending on the price the product sold for originally. This amount will be paid for between 2 and 11 units claimed without proof of purchase, depending on the state of purchase (see above list).
